Perth Games Festival 2015 has now been and gone, so I thought I’d do a quick wrap-up and post some pics. I also did an interview with GameCloud which you can read here. And for a much more detailed report on PGF 2015, check out GameCloud’s article here.
It was definitely an awesome day and quite a lot of people turned up! I’m not sure of the final number, but I know that it was a lot more than last year.
There was a steady stream of people playing Final Days for the entire day. Some people even came back more than once to play again, which felt really good to see!
(A lot of people asked when Final Days will be available, so if you’d like to be notified via e-mail when it’s is released then you can subscribe here. I will be releasing an alpha demo version within a month or so.)
It was quite a hectic and busy day, so unfortunately I didn’t really get a chance to check out any other games. But overall it was an awesome experience and Final Days got a great response!
A massive thank you goes to the Let’s Make Games crew for all their hard work in putting this together! Also thanks to all the other organisers, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make it all happen!
Of course I can’t forget to thank my mates who helped me run the booth – Grae, Cris, Damien, and in particular Bart and Jared who also helped me heaps with sourcing equipment and putting everything together! I wouldn’t have been able to pull it off without them!
And thanks to everyone that stopped by and checked out Final Days. I hope you enjoyed it! 🙂
